Overview

JOB SPECIFICS
We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join a growing, robust team of OB/GYN, FMOB, Midwife and APRN providers
OSF Medical Group OB/GYN Providers perform approximately 800 deliveries a year, serving Galesburg, IL and the surrounding Western Illinois area
Clinic is conveniently located on the campus of OSF Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg; this multispecialty clinic brings together a collegial group of specialty Physicians with embedded social workers and behavioral health professionals.
Opportunity for weekly outreach to smaller rural communities to grow your practice in our integrated health system.
Great opportunity for either a seasoned Board-Certified Physician, or a newly trained Board Eligible Physician
Weekly schedule is 3-4 days of clinic and 1 surgery day, plus outreach
Call is a Q6 model: 1 day every week/every other week, plus every 6th
Joining a team of 3 OB/GYN Physicians, 3 FMOB Physicians, 1 CNM and 1 APRN
2 Ultra sonographers in clinic
Two FertilityCare practitioners who educate in the Creighton model or FEMM model of Natural Family Planning and fertility awareness.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
Interest in Natural Family Planning, Fertility Awareness methods, and Natural Procreative Technology
