Manager, Facility Maintenance

Phonak LLC is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager who is responsible for a multi-site building, infrastructure management, production equipment service, deployment, and leadership of maintenance staff. This role is also responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing all facility service vendors. Also, this leader is responsible for creating annual budget plans and execution.
This position will be based out of Aurora Illinois.
Responsibilities:
This job is required to be 100% on site (2 facilities AODC and 750), and requires flexibility to complete and/or supervise improvement, corrective or preventive tasks or projects off office and production hours including weekends.
Directly responsible for the maintenance department. Provide on-going coaching and feedback to develop skills and improve performance
Develop and execute annual budgets
Prepare and execute maintenance plan for landscape, parking, signage, building (ground to roof), plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.
Develop and implement annual production equipment maintenance program
Direct oversight of production equipment services and repairs
Main point of contact for all local agencies such as fire department, police department, city development, and environmental agencies
Directly responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing all facility service vendors, such as landscapers, cleaning crew, MEPs, etc.
Critical involvement with all internal process changes and moves
Key members of the EMS and Safety team
General administrative and record keeping tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
More about you:
BA in related field
7+ years' experience in a management maintenance position preferred
Must have experience in a regulated environment: medical, food, aerospace or auto industries.
Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and other applicable industry standards.
Experience with HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)
Certified Facilities Manager is preferred but not required.
Experience in facilities equipment and industrial/production equipment maintenance is required.
Required soft skills: critical thinking, problem solver, collaborative, hands on leadership, lead by example, team work, great sense of urgency, self-disciplined, self-driven, self-accountable, be a change agent / change leader, etc.
Experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers, manage capital investment and preventive maintenance budgets.
Proven experience in driving cost savings initiatives and to lead continuous improvement projects and collaborate with all functional areas to define, deploy and sustain these initiatives.
Experience in Disaster Recovery Plan definition and testing.
Solid experience in risk assessments, Failure Error mode and Effect Analysis, implementation of preventive actions.
TPS (Total Preventive Maintenance), KPIs monitoring, collaborations and CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) experience is required.
Experience in Service Now or similar system is preferred.
Close collaboration and supervision of contractors is required.
Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations; including oversight of both technical and administrative... For full info follow application link.
