NTN Bearing Corporation of America (NBCA) is a major division of a multinational bearing manufacturing company providing highly engineered and quality precision components to the automotive and industrial markets. NTN has an immediate opening for a Product Manager.
The primary responsibility of the AAM Product Manager is to maintain and expand the offering of BCA and Bower automotive and HD truck products. This position is responsible for managing and interpreting data needed to develop and expand product offering to market and customer needs. To achieve this goal, a successful AAM Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.

Major Responsibility:
Analyze US markets for growth potential within current product categories.
Identify new product categories for automotive & heavy-duty aftermarkets thru market & voice-of-customer research, developing product roadmap for approval and launch.
Maintain master interchange database.
Develop and maintain master movement file, report on holes found.
OE/BCA coverage research using OE Motor data.
Provide interchange files to sales with supplied movement files
Work with customer relations and customers to handle packaging & label concerns.
Investigate JDE solutions to manage product functions.
Understand requirements and work in PDH to manage product data.
Manage and develop part data; assign BCA Part numbers including UPC/Barcodes.
Purchase OE samples for part validation.
Work with various departments to manage IMR, RFP, etc. processes (Activate BCA part numbers, & registering suppliers in JDE).
Oversee OE/Competitor sample inventory.
Assemble and disseminate information to provide ongoing product knowledge to the team.
Identification of NTN "OE" numbers to true OE numbers.
Assist AAM Business Unit as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years Automotive Aftermarket product experience is preferred.
Superior leadership and teamwork potential.
Excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills.
Ability to look at assignments from multiple viewpoints and different levels of detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Superior analytical skills.
High level proficiency with Excel.
