Job Description

Performance Health is seeking a Category Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Category Marketing Assistant will provide item set up and activation support for the Global Category and Brand/Product Management Team.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Leads all new item set up activities under direction of Category Team. This includes data entry into Profit Optics system, collection of data needed for item set-up, collection of appropriate marketing materials (copy, photos, relevant product info) needed to merchandise products.
Serves as vendor liaison for external suppliers to support Category Management Team's product priorities throughout item set up process.
Works with commercial operations, purchasing, category, and finance to manage item set up through each step of the item set up process.
Leverages internal systems (Profit Optics and Netsuite) as needed; maintains item tracking database.
Completes all follow through activities after completion of item set-up including product submission to web team, creation of product sell sheets and communication to sales teams.
Works collaboratively within the global marketing department to help define and drive marketing excellence.
Build effective internal global company relationships with sourcing, sales, finance, operations, customer support, marketing and other cross-functional teams to assist Category Team with successful product life cycle management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in a marketing or sales analytical or support role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
Excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Strong customer focus
Proactive self-starter
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team setting
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel

This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $21.50 - $26.50 plus benefits.
