Overview

JOB SPECIFICS:
Looking for an Advanced Practice Nurse to join the larger Cardiology/Cardiothoracic Surgery team as a Electrophysiology APN in Bloomington, IL!
Will work alongside Electrophysiology physician
Will be doing hospital rounding and seeing patients in clinic
Monday - Friday, 8-5 with no call
Looking for a candidate with cardiology or electrophysiology background

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Certification as APN or Physician*s Assistant * Current Licensure in the state of Illinois as an APN or Physician*s Assistant * Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics, if applicable * Current Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Two years of cardiovascular patient care experience. * Two years of critical care patient management experience Other skills/knowledge * Work requires the interpersonal skills necessary to educate family and significant others on care as well as provide emotional support, deal effectively with providers, residents, medical students, and hospital or office staff, provide training and education to professional and community. /Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled Job seekers will be afforded equal opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, veteran status or disability status.
