In this role you will support and be the primary technical resource for existing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities are focused on assembly, systems configuration, and testing of
sensor products. You will work both independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot various issues, improve process productivity or capability, and maintain safe work environment. The right candidate will have the desire to learn new skills and develop to their full potential.

What You Will Do
Support existing manufacturing processes through problem solving, optimizing, and upgrading to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness.
Optimize assembly cell layout, production process flow, and support continuous process improvements.
Configurate and test custom measuring systems. This includes calibration and maintenance of the systems.
Investigate, identify root cause, apply corrective action, and document quality issues that occur during manufacturing process.
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues occurred during the manufacturing process, and focusing on improvements, such as optimizing tooling and fixtures utilized for production.
Oversee process validation and equipment qualification.
Provide feedback to engineering team regarding assembly process, testing, optimization of tooling.
Provide engineering support for components that are produced at remote sites.
Collect manufacturing data and perform production yield analysis.
Provide directions and necessary training to operators.
Review quality documents and FAI reports.
Understand, support, and contribute to current Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and UL certification.
Support development of product/process innovations for next generation solutions.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are
Engineering degree, Military experience, or comparable experience as a technician in a similar role.
Electronic test and measurement experience.
Implementation of new manufacturing and testing methods including training of others to execute a process.
Ability to work in production environment and to analyze processes, schedules, manufacturing methods.
Able to read engineering prints / drawings, including BOM.
Experience with equipment qualification and process validation.
Proven ability explaining processes, proposing changes, or establish technical requirements.

What Puts You Ahead

2 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Previous experience being responsible for a process or product as part of your job requirements.
Experience with sensor products.
Experience in electrical testing of final product.
Experience with automated testing systems like LabView, TestStand, or other.
Report writing detailing outcome of testing, RCA, process qualification, etc..
Basic CAD experience with ability to make simple drawing changes.
Experience with data analysis tools.
Experience performing RCAs, FMEAs, etc..
Growth mindset to challenge status quo and find new paths.
