Job Description

What You Will Do:
Chief Engineer, Electrical for Gannett Fleming, Inc. to work at our Chicago, IL loc.
Responsible for strategic + operational leadership of Business Line. Exercises leadership of Business Line or operational oversight of a Business Line Region. Serve as Sr. technical electrical engineering (Electrical, lighting, +/or special systems) advisor. Client Manager for strategic clients +/or Project Principal for strategic clients. Will also manage strategic Business line or corporate programs. Actively engaged at national level in professional societies. Dev + execute strategic plans aligned w/ corporate strategic goals. Contribute to dev + execution of business plans, budgets, + performance goals. Contributes advice + direction to major proposals, risk assessment, + mitigation plans, + project execution plans. Supervise Sr. staff + overall responsibility for ops in an Area/ Region. Resp for key client management. Serve as Project Principal for large, complex, or strategic projects. May serve as QA Manager. Contributes to corporate strategy, plans, + programs.
Occasional weekend and after hours may be required to complete projects.
Little domestic travel may be involved.
May undergo background checks incl drug screen and MV check.
Salary range: $121,000-168,500.Education | Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
Must have Bach in Electrical Engineering (Power) or rel field and 8 years Physical Electrical Design and Power Studies exp. or Master's in Electrical Engineering (Power) or rel field and 4 years Physical Electrical Design and Power Studies exp.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Also reqs PE (or equivalent international designation).
