As a Workday Time Tracking Architect, you will serve as a subject matter expert seeking opportunities to enhance Workday’s capabilities and design solutions. A key member of the Workday Product Support team, which is situated within the Caterpillar Human Resources Center of Excellence (CoE), this role reports directly to the Senior Manager of HR Technology and has global responsibility.

What you will do:

+ Configure and test business processes

+ Optimize process design and tools to meet the changing needs of the business

+ Work with other functions to design and prototype cross-functional solutions

+ Participate in system testing to ensure the successful deployment of application enhancements and releases

+ Investigate and resolve human resources technology issues, unexpected results, or process gaps

+ Troubleshoot, analyze and correct technical issues of high complexity

+ Support development and management of the Human Resources Technology roadmap, including maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across Human Resources and the business

What you have:

+ Tactical & Strategic Planning: Working level knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

+ Collaboration: Extensive knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

+ Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

+ Influencing: Working level knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

+ Data Gathering and Reporting: Extensive knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

+ Technical Troubleshooting: Working level knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

+ Workday Time Tracking: Extensive knowledge of all the core concepts of Workday Time Tracking. Previous experience leading implementations with a specific focus on Time Tracking is necessary. The successful candidate is required to have a Workday Time Tracking certification. Preference would also to hold a Workday Absence certification.

Summary Pay Range:

$142,080.00 – $213,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
