Job Description

Position Summary:

The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non tenure-track position in English, to begin Fall 2024.

We seek adjunct faculty to teach the following in-person classes:

+ ENGL 110 Writing for College and Beyond, 8 am on T/TH, Aug-Dec

+ ENGL 106 How to Read and Write Poems, 8 am on M/W/F, Oct-Dec

+ ENGL 212 Writing, Rhetoric & Digital Studies, 8 am on T/TH, Aug-Dec

Candidates must hold an M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. in related field. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. In the cover letter, please identify which course(s) is of interest and the expertise you would bring to teaching in this area.
