Position Overview

Responsible for delivering operational plans and setting day-to-day team objectives or delivering the business policies and programs within a defined specialist area. Resolves day-to-day issues/escalation points. Candidates must live within the Chicagoland area, or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

+ Performs all clinical testing related to hearing, hearing aid test box measures, hearing aid fitting, verification, and validation consistent with best practices

+ Leads clinical trials for a product program by writing a test plan, working with other audiologists running test subjects to ensure high quality data collection best practices

+ Interprets trial data with little direction and presents it clearly in both written and verbal communication

+ Understands electroacoustics and advanced signal processing in our hearing aids and how to evaluate them objectively including directionality, feedback control, noise reduction, and compression

+ Recruits and evaluates potential test subjects

+ Contributes to the development and review of scientific, promotional, and educational content

+ Perform Literature searches & monitoring and contributes for white papers and publications

+ Outlines end user and dispenser needs to product development and product management

+ Delivers high quality training materials for our products and present them internally and externally

+ Proficient at Excel data entry

+ Respect, motivate, and collaborate with colleagues (be a team player)

+ Familiar with competitors’ products

+ Understands the industry at a basic level including how hearing aids are distributed, sold, and marketed

+ Leadership and analytical skills

+ Strong interpersonal communication skills

+ Able to resolve problems and complex issues

+ Excellent computer skills and proficiency using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and balance diverse work schedule

+ Demonstrates ability to be highly organized and manage time effectively

+ Proficient with oral and written communication and with conducting presentations

Desired Qualifications

+ Education: US AuD or PhD in Audiology, master’s degree minimum

+ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hearing aid fittingPrefer previous work experience within the hearing aid industry or similar industry.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in training or education.

+ Must live within the Chicagoland area

Physical Demands: Office based; training environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position. 5 days per week, 40 hours
