Your role will involve designing and implementing manufacturable processes, identifying root causes of failures, and participating in daily production activities. responsibilities:

+ Recognize and understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and product requirements

+ Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability

+ Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process, either independently or in collaboration with other engineering stakeholders

+ Participate in daily production activities and effectively solve problems

+ Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production

+ Oversee new process equipment production and engineering change orders (ECOs)

+ Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters

+ Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies

+ Troubleshoot process-related issues

+ Participate in activities related to cycle time and process improvements

+ Evaluate and select various engineered materials

+ Implement statistical process research on new and existing products

+ Improve safety, productivity, and overall manufacturing techniques

+ Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques to enhance in-house capabilities

+ Develop and maintain process documentation

+ Review processing methods and interface with production on new process implementation and transfer

+ Assist in developing training materials and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfers

+ Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required

+ Guide cost improvement/reduction programs

+ Lead, supervise, and direct process engineering tasks and activities for technicians

+ Execute at a high level in injection molding

+ Develop processes including IQ, OQ, and PQ, and validate to medical device standards

+ Utilize MiniTab for data analysis, evaluating data, reading data, and making informed decisions with tooling

+ Follow up with production after PQ, providing feedback and updates

+ Maintain attention to detail in tooling, MPI, new products, and new tooling
