Summary:

The Senior Know Your Customer (KYC) and Loan Documentation Specialist serves as a subject matter expert on Huntington Distribution Finance KYC requirements. This role will prepare and review documents for all complex ownership structures and non-standard requests. The Sr. Specialist will collaborate with Sales Support, Portfolio Management, Credit, Legal, and Compliance regarding documentation, KYC, and Salesforce (Engine) data integrity matters. Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Work closely with stakeholders to understand the customer/prospect organizational structures and identify information needed to satisfy Huntington Distribution Finance KYC and loan documentation requirements.

+ Prepare standard and/or customized loan documents for complex organizational structure prospects and customers.

+ Review UCC searches and filings to determine the need for intercreditor and collateral subordination agreements.

+ Meet or exceed accuracy guidelines as established by department; resolve questions and issues in a timely manner to minimize negative customer impact.

+ Review and approve loan documents prepared and submitted by other departments to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.

+ Coach stakeholders in reviewing organizational authority and formation documents to ensure the required authorized signers and owners are present in all legal forms and documentation.

+ Work closely with the Documentation Manager, Onboarding Director, Legal, and Compliance; e xercise discretion when higher level review is required.

+ Perform other onboarding and documentation related duties and special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related degree or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of experience in banking or finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3-5 years of commercial lending and loan documentation experience

+ Floor planning/inventory finance and/or equipment finance industry experience strongly preferred

+ Knowledge of credit and risk management functions

+ Prior experience working in global organizations preferred

+ Exceptional attention to detail, organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while staying focused with minimal supervision

+ Excellent verbal and written communication as well as listening skills

+ Problem solving skills
