Job Description
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Circulating, administering medications, monitoring patient for left heart catheterizations, right heart catheterization, peripheral cases with on-call responsibilities for STEMIs, emergent catheterizations, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
EPIC, McKesson, pyxis
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Critical care, catheterization lab experience. Minimum of 1 year experience.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
ACLS, BLS
Shift or schedule requirements.
Weekends required (every 6 weekends). On call approx. 6-7 times/month. The employee will always be apart of a team of a tleast 3 people. They will never work alone.
Floating to other units/departments.
No floating to other departments
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
4 theatres in the catheterization lab
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
1:1
Dress Code:
hospital issued scrubs

For agency with experience orientation will be one week
