Job Summary

UPS Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Fraud Analyst to join our team. The GBS Lead Fraud Analyst supports the Corporate Fraud Mitigation Team and serves as the central contact for the field in mitigating fraudulent situations. He/she also coordinates solutions across required groups (Corporate Security, GBS, Operations, Business Development, etc.). In addition to educating the field and customers on appropriate processes that support fraud prevention, the GBS Lead Fraud Analyst acts as the subject matter expert for various tasks within the department related to the implementation and communication of fraud-related applications. Duties:

+ Helps oversee escalation of concerns

+ Monitors, measures and communicates fraud exposure and potential risks to minimize fraud through reports and analysis

+ Monitors and investigates suspicious use of UPS products, processes and services

+ Documents and communicates customer needs and frustrations related to the implementation of UPS fraud solutions

+ Documents processes and procedures of Fraud Mitigation Team activity

+ Oversees multiple fraudulent activities and takes action to eliminate root cause

Qualifications Required:

+ Knowledge and skills

+ Knowledge of general Finance and Accounting practices (billing, A/R, customer profile software applications, etc.)

+ Applied knowledge of operational processes and systems (ETT, Overgoods and Smartstop)

+ Understands UPS’s pickup and delivery process

+ Able to manage conflict with customers and fraudsters

+ Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, etc.)

+ Proficient knowledge and use of Salesforce CEC application.

+ Demonstrates effective time-management skills; seamlessly adapts to change

+ Possesses strong communication, organization, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure

+ Two or more years of Customer Service, Credit Collection or Billing experience

+ Previous Fraud Analyst experience – Preferred
