Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Operate CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills and lathes. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting complex prints, drawing sketches, and making recommendations for correcting prints. Your role will include selecting appropriate feeds and speeds, setting up jobs according to prints and setup procedures, and adjusting fixtures as necessary. You will participate in improvements in production, service, quality, and safety, and ensure that quality performance meets or exceeds customer expectations. The role also involves ensuring accuracy of inventory transactions, completing documentation appropriate to the job, determining whether tooling/fixtures are available or finding approved substitutes, performing in-process inspection, and having the flexibility to work in other departments as cross-trained and required. Safety consciousness is crucial in this role.

This is a fully on-site position in Batavia, Illinois.
