Job Description

Description:

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, proper, and efficient function.

Document associated tasks and parts used/replaced.

Diagnose problems with mechanical assemblies and repair or replace bearings, belts, pulleys and gears.

Make replacement and prototype parts and fixtures by machining and fabrication.

Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and assemble small punch press dies and components.

Assist in the storage and management of replacement parts and components.

Analyze, install, and maintain water, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Make repairs and replace worn or defective parts such as gauges, valves, pressure regulators and piping.

Troubleshoot machine control circuits (switches, relays, fuses, indicators, sensors).

Diagnose motor failures, use electrical test instrumentation including multimeters and amp meters.

Connect and install dual-voltage motors.

Job Requirements

3 years or more of experience as a maintenance technician within a manufacturing environment

Read and understand drawings, diagrams and schematics.
