Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up Swiss star machines and performing complex setups of parts from start to finish on CNC machines. The successful candidate will also assist in maintaining daily production through tool changes, changeovers, and routine maintenance tasks such as boring jaws, aligning fixtures or vises, and cleaning collets or guide bushings. You will be working primarily with SHS machines and sliding head machines among others.

Hard Skills

+ Experience with CNC machine setup

+ Knowledge of Swiss star machines

+ Proficiency in maintaining and operating SHS machines and sliding head machines

+ Ability to perform complex setups and adjustments

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Chicago, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment features large industrial fans to maintain a cool atmosphere, and involves working with a total of 86 machines located in West Chicago.
