Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY :

Responsible for full cycle recruitment of central office and field positions, including planning and implementing creative cost-effective strategies to ensure staffing needs are fulfilled quickly and efficiently with quality hires. Responsible for administrative activities surrounding the recruitment process; including but not limited to: interview scheduling, applicant tracking, reference checks and all other additional new hire paperwork. Assists with general Human Resources projects and reporting activities

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops and implements recruitment procedures, processes and techniques for central office and field positions. Evaluates various recruitment sources, such as social media, internet job boards or professional organizations and publications. Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of sources for specific positions. Recruits for technical Professional, and managerial positions.

1. Supports recruitment process by coordinating interview schedules for open positions, including the use of video, in-person and phone interviews. Confirms appointments with all parties.

2. Serves as the eAppraisal and/or applicant tracking system administrator. Assists employees with questions on the performance appraisal process; assists hiring managers and applicants with questions regarding the on-line application and job requisition process. Administers and tests new processes and forms.

1. Conducts and coordinates reference checks on potential job candidates by verifying education, licensure, employment and compiling business references.

1. Compiles and confirms all new hire paperwork is complete, including first level review and sign off of new employee personnel files.

1. Coordinates advertising for job requisitions. Prepares ad copy, determines best advertising media and places ads. Coordinates preparation of recruitment materials including information placed on the Joint Commission web site, recruitment brochures and other information pieces.

1. Coordinates and facilitates new employee orientations by confirming department participation, and preparing any necessary orientation materials and presentations.

1. Supports enterprise compliance requirements by ensuring all enterprise employees complete annual compliance documents for personnel files, and preparing and submitting government – mandated compliance reports.

1. Assists employees at all levels with use of departmental forms and questions related to assigned area.

1. Serves as Intranet liaison by updating Human Resource Department and human resources related information. Assists with management of on-line policies by posting and archiving as requested.

2. Analyzes recruitment trends and prepares appropriate reports to assist in formulating recruitment strategies.

1. Participates in other departmental projects or employee relations activities as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. The level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Bachelor-s degree in business or human resources administration or a related field.

1. Minimum of seven years of experience in recruiting professional personnel, with experience in healthcare recruitment preferred.

1. Knowledge of social media (Linked In, Facebook, etc) and other web based recruiting preferred.

1. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

2. Strong analytical skills and ability to complete work independently or as part of a team engaged in multiple project assignments; ability to prioritize workload.

1. Operating knowledge and experience with an applicant tracking system and its reporting functions. Experience with Ultimate Software preferred.

1. Must be technically savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and internet sourcing skills.

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail oriented.
