Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a direct hire basis. This position offers a salary range of $32-$40 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying a wide range of large and complex printing equipment. This role involves working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics to install and troubleshoot machinery.

?Shift

Initially, the training shift will be Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm for 3-6 months. Following training, the regular shift will be Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am . This is a second shift position, and the technician will be the only one on shift during these hours.

Hard Skills

+ Troubleshooting using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Libertyville, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing floor. Despite being loud due to operating press machines, ear plugs are provided for comfort. The manufacturing floor is structured with machines in rows, producing a variety of labels and tags. The company is family-operated, with the owner and his son actively involved in production and familiar with all team members. With an average employee tenure of 18 years, the company offers significant opportunities for advancement, with roles progressing from press apprentice to operator levels and potentially to lead position.
