Job Description

Job Responsibilities
+ Utilize AutoCAD/ Civil 3D to create solid waste engineering design and permitting plans (landfills, transfer stations and recycling facilities).
+ Create full set engineering plans, including grading, landfill gas collection systems, landfill cell construction, infrastructure construction, storm water management, earthwork, erosion control and etc.
+ Conduct occasional site visits and prepare CQA reports.
+ Provide technical oversite to junior engineers.
+ Work on a variety of projects from start to finish
Additional Details
+ BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
+ 3-5 years of solid waste/ landfill engineering.
+ Proficient in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D (must be able to put together a site plan drawing).
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
+ Ability to conduct site visits and experience with CQA.
+ Strong communication skills and attention to details.
+ Must have active 40 hour HAZWOPER
