Responsibilities

The Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) of Oracle is the world’s leading project and portfolio management software organization. Since 1983, we have provided the software foundation that enables all types of businesses to achieve excellence in managing their portfolios, programs, projects and resources. It is estimated that projects totaling more than $5 trillion in value have been managed with Primavera products. The development group in the Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit is focused on developing Next generation Enterprise level SaaS solutions for our customers in project intensive industries. Our applications provide project and portfolio management, Schedule Management, contract management, resource management, and risk management solutions used by large world leading companies in Construction and Heavy Engineering space.

We leverage an agile development methodology (Scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, monthly sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often. Job Description

We are seeking a developer for the Cloud Engineer team who will be responsible for developing either:

- developing latest in Cloud technologies and deployment and provisioning of CEGBU products

- CI CD and Cloud platform

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and databases

- Strong Linux experience required

- Scripting experience and scripting languages

- Previous Cloud experience preferred

US: Hiring Range: from $19.57 to $48.00 per hour; from $40,700 to $99,840 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
