Janler is seeking a Metrologist / Quality Technician to join our team in Northwest Chicago, IL.

The Metrologist / Quality technician will perform measurements and tests required to ensure that products fulfill all customer specifications and quality requirements. Responsibilities:+ Conduct In-Process and Final Audit Inspections on Injection Mold components.
+ Perform 1st article inspection
+ Perform and document product identification and traceability activities as required.
+ Perform and document accurate mechanical and visual inspections
+ Responsible for incoming inspections.
+ Act as internal auditor for ISO.
+ Assure correct product labeling.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 5+ years Precision Quality and metrology experience in a precision machining, mold building environment
+ Experience with Precision metal working
+ CMM experience required, Zeiss a plus
+ ISO Auditor or ISO knowledge
+ ASQ certified, a plus
+ Hands-on team player
+ Experience with plastics or equivalent, a plus
