Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an expert and highly motivated individual for a position as a Services Project Manager within our Aerospace, Defense and Transportation (ADT) Business Unit. As an ADT Services Project Manager, you will lead a large project with numerous project delivery teams, assisting our customers in realizing the value of a PLM solution. You will establish and communicate clear project priorities and activities. This role is the primary point of contact to align the customer, stakeholders, and the Siemens delivery teams.

About the job:

As part of a Professional Services team, you will collaborate efficiently with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, Product Development, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills, process improvement skills and organizational and finance acumen.

Responsibilities:

+ Work with Sales and Services Management to initiate, review, and obtain agreement on project governance with the customer.

+ Define and communicate project roles and responsibilities.

+ Drive the customer to realize value from Siemens PLM Solutions and guide the customer through the Siemens PLM Delivery Framework.

+ Conduct stakeholder management through systematic identification, analysis, and planning of actions to negotiate with and influence stakeholders.

+ Set up all required processes in alignment with all stakeholders, establishing appropriate communication on all levels for a project.

+ Proactively monitor the projects’ overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective and preventive action as appropriate.

+ Perform project risk management, including planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling.

+ Enforce change management at the project level to ensure the dependencies of the change are reflected and understood.

+ Orchestrate project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

+ Review and identify critical paths and manage project dependencies.

+ Perform project quality management, ensure the solution meets requirements, and manage compliance with standards, rules, and regulations.

+ Perform project reviews and retrospectives regularly and feed the results and lessons learned into the organization to strengthen the Siemens PLM Delivery Framework.

+ Ensure the project delivers to the approved budget and agreed margin and that are both regularly reviewed.

+ Execute project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality.

+ Direct the work of employees and subcontractors assigned to the project.

+ Effectively communicate project progress with the customer and support customer adoption.

+ Together with Engagement Management, identify and create additional opportunities within and beyond the ongoing project.

+ Grow the business through follow-on servicecontracts or project change orders to scope.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology, or an equivalent level of knowledge in PLM

+ Multiple years of experience as a Project Manager for Teamcenter solutions or comparable products, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator, or Agile

+ Previous leadership experience with Enterprise PLM, ERP, or MES implementations with project budgets over $1M US

+ Experience leading a group of professional architects and consultants during a software implementation to achieve results

+ Multiple years of team-leading experience in a customer-facing environment

+ Communicate with a high degree of creativity, self-confidence, and persuasiveness

+ An initiative-taker with excellent communication skills at all levels throughout an organization

+ Agile certification or SAFe certification and prior experience

+ Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Project Management Association (IPMA) or equivalent

+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

The total cash compensation range for this position is $101,700 to $203,400 with 10% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
