SUMMARY:

Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced individual for the position of Director, Customer Strategy Analytics. Reporting directly into VP of Advanced Analytics and Omnichannel Customer Engagement (AAOCE), this individual will have primary responsibility of leading all market access analytics strategy and execution. This individual will also be leading the analytics on medical affairs, supporting Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real World Evidence (RWE), as well as all Business Development (BD) analytics. This individual will build and establish the partnership with global analytics organization to generate a comprehensive enterprise analytics insight across Lundbeck’s portfolio of products.

The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics leader with deep expertise in data sciences techniques, market access analytics & strategy, payer & patient data & insights, and a strategic storyteller and a strong collaborator with a proven track record of navigating complex organizational structures/experience in highly matrixed environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Focus on building and managing effective team with core focus on people development and enterprise thinking.

+ Lead market access analytics such as payer, pull-through and contract analytics and work within all areas within Market Access to ensure strategy and execution is built on a 360-degree analytics and data-driven insights.

+ Drive understanding and adoption of omnichannel customer marketing and analytics across global markets by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning and data visualization tools to deliver compelling narratives and data-driven business recommendations.

+ Lead the partnership with Lundbeck global analytics function to establish a comprehensive insight generation across Lundbeck portfolio of products.

+ Lead analytics strategy and execution for medical affairs and HEOR functions.

+ Responsible for leading all the analytics to support BD.

+ In collaboration with AAOCE leadership, establish centralized and consistent strategic analytics insights to inform the creation, execution, and performance of brand strategies across portfolio of products.

+ Enhance patient/patient journey insights by leveraging innovative data and technology approaches to improve data capture and connection across customer journey.

+ Establish SOPs and consistent data collection processes for non-traditional data points across patient-acquisition sources and channels including specialty infusion providers, patient support programs, and other patient data sources.

+ Support business needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ Master’s degree in quantitative field required

+ Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries

+ 8+ years of relevant experience in quantitative fields

+ Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports

+ Deep expertise in pharma market and market access trends, vendors, technology platforms and best practices

+ Market access analytics experience with payer mix (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) analysis, formulary analysis and strategy development

+ Strong hands-on experience in running rigorous statistical models on pharmaceutical data and ability to build a comprehensive brand story

+ Proficient in various patient-level data as well as other syndicated patient data sources

+ Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable solutions

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.

+ Demonstrated ability to foster enterprise-wide innovation and transformation through thought leadership, exemplary written and interpersonal communication skill

+ Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization

+ Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ PhD in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Sociology or other related fields with a strong emphasis in quantitative methods

+ Preferred experience in pharma/device/biopharma or healthcare industry demonstrating continuous career progression in analytics/strategy roles

+ Experience in leading people, with a track record for developing a high performing team

+ Prior experience in building and leading data automation initiatives and advanced analytics solutions

+ Experience with data partners, IT and analytics consultants to onboard data & analytics services

+ Experience in marketing enablement, marketing automation, and journey orchestration within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry

+ Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products

+ High proficiency in SAS, R, or Python/SQL coding

TRAVEL:

+ Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.

The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $240,000 – $270,000 and eligibility for a 25% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
