Required Skills:

Software Engineer, SW-Specialist, Systems Responsibilities:

1. Develop software interfaces for a variety of off-the-shelf and custom sensors.

2. Develop and maintain various features including first time user experience, membership and subscription management, personalization, social sharing and more.

3. Conduct technical design and code reviews.

4. Produce clean, efficient code following engineering standards and best practices.

5. Apply knowledge of real-time perception systems to accelerate development of reusable software for perception components.

6. Develop positive working relationships with researchers, product managers, program managers, QA, marketing, and other roles.

7. Build software, tools, infrastructure, documentation, and other systems.

8. Coordinate with a large set of internal infrastructure and tool teams across the lab and across Meta to evaluate and integrate with existing systems.

9. Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

10. Requires a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field, and four years of work experience in a job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

11. Requires four years of experience in the following:

12. 1. Unity and C#

13. 2. Creating, extending, integrating and maintaining 3D engine systems such as graphics rendering, audio, physics, networking, or animation

14. 3. Software development practices including source control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging and profiling

15. 4. Unity, Unreal, or other robust game engine

16. 5. Working on live applications at scale, including high frequency shipping cycles

17. 6. Working on client platforms such as game consoles, mobile devices, or VR headsets

18. 7. Developing iOS or Android applications

19. 8. Developing client applications using reactive programming frameworks.

Public Compensation:

$176,468/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
