Job Overview

This position is responsible for managing all equipment sales contracts and equipment orders for the assigned territory which could total over $50 million in annual sales. Manages existing sales contract commitments equaling or exceeding annual sales in value.

Key Job Responsibilities

Prepare equipment sales offers in accordance with company sales guidelines, along with initiating and follow to conclusion related supporting documentation such as vendor support requests, credit related approvals and instruments, SFR''s, BAW''s, RAMP and extended warranty requests, SVM approval, and maintaining hard and electronic quotation history file.
Supervise for effect with the appropriate internal departments, distributors, subsidiaries, and regional sales manager, sales proposal and contract activity including proper machine application, specifications, delivery commitments, financing, after-sales support, availability guarantees, Ramps, extended warranties, vendor back-to-back support, etc.
Prepare analysis as needed to evaluate specific customer/overall market trends which will be used by management to establish optimum pricing levels. Based upon this analysis recommend changes to sales policies and procedures in conjunction with Product Marketing.
Expedite receipt of and analyze for conformity to negotiated terms and conditions sales order documentation submitted by distributors and subsidiaries (purchase orders, BAW, Ramp contracts). Resolve discrepancies as needed.
Establish an equipment sales order history file for each sales transaction and simultaneously consolidate sales order details into an order summary workbook for the order and distribution department.
Assist management with the monthly sales forecast preparation and make equipment build/purchase recommendations as needed to meet annual equipment sales plan.
Monitor equipment forecast data received from the regional sales managers, distributors, and subsidiaries and assuring such information is accurately and timely added to the upshot data base.
Manage customer visits and sales meetings for assigned territory.

Qualifications/Requirements

University degree preferred, or 4-8 years in marketing and sales in a related industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including computer skills.
Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with distributors and internal departments to achieve desired results.
Knowledge of products inthe construction and mining industry.
Operational knowledge of SAP and/or Salesforce preferred.
