About The Team:

The Tech Advisory practice sits under Advisory Services (AS) which provides transaction support, bankruptcy and restructuring advisory, valuation, corporate finance advisory, litigation, dispute resolution consulting, and forensic investigation services. AS provides strategic vision and training to Crowe International's Global Corporate Advisors (GCA), comprised of corporate finance professionals from independent Crowe Global member firms. The AS team members collaborate with other Crowe practices on solutions for various industries, from financial institutions to manufacturing. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Advisory Consultant- Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology strategy, IT project management, and business process analysis. As a Tech Advisory Consultant Manager, you will work closely with clients to assess their technology needs, develop tailored solutions, and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives. Below are example service offerings our tech advisory team delivers on behalf of our clients:

IT Due Diligence

As part of a Private Equity Group's evaluation of a target company, we assess the current state of IT and provide key recommendations for post-investment execution.

Key Areas of assessment Include: IT spend, IT organizational structure, business applications, security, IT infrastructure, and capacity to meet future business needs.

IT Strategy Roadmaps

We uncover key business objectives, assess the current IT state, and outline a multi-year IT strategy of many IT initiatives to drive results

We assess the risk and potential business impact of each project and create a phased approach for the implementation of these critical initiatives

IT System Selection

We guide companies through the process of making their most critical and long-lasting IT decisions

We uncover key business requirements, research potential providers, assess alternative IT vendors, and build consensus around the winner

IT Project Management Office/Office of the CIO

Companies often need support executing their most critical projects. Our team members may serve to fill key management roles as part of these projects

We deliver through a structured project management framework to oversee the successful completion, working with client resources, vendors, and consultants

IT Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integrations

We set strategy and oversee the integration of all IT-related aspects of a Merger or Acquisition

This high-intensity process includes combining infrastructure, applications, people, and process

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, technology challenges, and opportunities. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop actionable technology strategies that align with their goals.

Strategic Planning: Develop and deliver technology roadmaps and implementation plans. Provide guidance on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.

Project Oversight: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by coordinating with implementation partners and stakeholders.

Business Process Review: Analyze clients' business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation.

Technology Solutions: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that meet clients' needs. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and senior management. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations.

Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the consulting practice. Share knowledge and best practices with the team.

Qualifications:
