A Senior Database Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining database scripts, ETL, automation, and manual data loading process development and documentation for a B2B web application. Responsibilities include:
Reviewing requirements and building new database tables, views, and stored procedures
Creating new ETL using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
Automating container creation using Azure Batch (in Python)
Running periodic data loads, ad-hoc data updates, and queries
Performance tuning existing Azure SQL database tables, indexes, and stored proceduresQualifications
Good Communication Skills
Azure SQL Server development and maintenance
Proficient Python skills
Azure Data Factory/Azure Synapse Analytics development and maintenance
SSIS package development and maintenance, Jupyter notebook and SQL notebook development
Azure DevOps or JIRA experience is a plus
Experience with Azure Analysis Services a plus (SSAS in the cloud)
Experience with PowerQuery/PowerBI/PowerAutomate a plusAdditional Information
