JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create and maintain accurate and detailed user-friendly documentation, primarily Preventative Maintenance standard operating procedures.
* Collaborate with skilled maintenance workers and supervisors and other appropriate stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into accessible content.
* Conduct observation of processes on-site in order to gather information and validate accuracy.
* Review and edit existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
* Ensure that technical content complies with industry best practices and guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with SAP (preferred).
* Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge in an industrial environment. Preference would be for someone who has been in a skilled maintenance or related role previously.
* Ability to read technical drawings and identify components is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
