Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategy development, initiative advancement and oversight, and operational leadership to drive on-going provider value. This work will include helping to set up provider governance structures for change management, implementing supplier standardization and device utilization strategies that achieve cost and variation reduction in all clinical service lines.

Responsibilities:

Engage with physician teams to drive change and align portfolios.

Provide strategic direction to customers and in-depth technical expertise through coordination, implementation, and delivery of consulting services.

Understand analytics and articulate findings to providers that influence decision making and behaviors while training the less experienced on data interpretation and storytelling.

Facilitate early adoption of leading practice processes and operations by working with provider executives and department managers to identify and evaluate customer needs and to plan implementation.

Plan and manage increasingly complex projects or work streams while making decisions about priorities, timing, scope and resources to execute on expected value.

Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred.

5 or more years of relevant experience required.

Experience working with a healthcare provider / healthcare consulting firm preferred.

Clinical knowledge of cardiovascular functionality strongly preferred. Some knowledge of Operating Room functionality and surgical products helpful.

Ability to build strong strategic working relationships with both internal and external customers including suppliers and participating providers.

Proven track record of successfully managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive projects.

Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
