JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for coordinating the project planning and verification & validation activities for new and current production wiring harness components.
* Will work closely with suppliers and internal clients to develop requirements
* Will gather quotes, create and track development plans.
* Project planning will be based on well-established and documented processes for new product and continuous improvement
* Coordinate project activities with a team of engineers
* Work with internal clients to develop product requirements.
* Work with suppliers on development activities
* Create test plans and coordinate testing with internal and external labs
* Conduct project review meetings and report out to management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering required, preference would be in electrical engineering.
* 5-7 years" experience
* Experience with circuit protection and wiring harness technology is a plus
* Related BS or MS projects or internships will be considered if durations are included.
* Experience with lab equipment
* Oscilloscopes and Multi-meters
* Experience with Project Planning tools
* Experience with Failure Mode Effect & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA) process
* Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
* Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
* Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Attention to details
* Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
* Must be a Self starter
