Job Description
We have multiple clients in the Rockford Region who are seeking Mig and/or TIG Welders to become part of their team! 1st and 2nd Shift openings. These are temp-to-hire openings.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair various equipment and components
- Follow instructions accurately to meet product specifications
- Read micrometers and calipers to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of MIG welding and must pass a MIG weld test
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with micrometers and calipers
- Ability and desire to work in a safe and efficient manner and follow direction
- Work history showing longevity in a position with attendance recommendations being a huge plus
Must pass a drug screen prior to start
