Job Description
ICE Clear Credit LLC. seeks Senior QA Analyst in Chicago, IL, to establish test strategies and frameworks in partnership with System Analysts, Development and System Operations to ensure business, technical, and operational requirements are satisfied within required time frames with no adverse impact to existing functionality or operational processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience: Performing software testing of RESTAPI’s within a microservice based system architecture; using automation workload software including BMC Control-M and Tidal to exercise and validate the systems operational context; utilizing QA tools including Jira for defect management and X-Ray (for Jira) for test case repository to create/manage test cases and report, monitor, and verify defects found during testing; using UNIX/LINUX operating systems to accomplish testing of backend applications; applying QA best practices in defining Test plans with test approach, strategy and project risks documented; and creating queries to retrieve information from databases using Oracle SQL with Oracle SQL Developer. In the alternative, the business will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience performing the above listed skills.
