Job Description
Encyclopaedia Britannica Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Director of Advanced Technology to build and lead engineers in developing advanced software technology solutions for dozens of products created by Encyclopedia Britannica and Merriam-Webster. Participate in all product development, product enhancement initiatives, and utilize advanced software technology to enhance the utility of these products and product features. The specific technologies covered under this group include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Use database technologies, cloud computing, and programming languages including SQL database query language and Python programming language. Build solutions using standard language models available in the public domain as well as commercial models. Utilize database technologies, cloud computing, SQL database query language, Python programming language, and Amazon’s AWS cloud infrastructure. Telecommuting and remote working allowed.
