Job Description

Market Product Manager
Develops and implements the strategic direction for heavy duty connectors within North America in support of product line and divisional goals. Acts as a focal point for market knowledge, profitability, forecasts, commercialization, and planning.What You Will Do In Your Role  *Develops and implements strategic product and annual business plans targeting

markets, industries, and customers within North America

*Identifies product line trends and technologies in regional market. Leads long range product planning.
*Increases sales and market share of assigned product line in support of Divisional

objectives. Tracks progress to plan for revenue, profit, and backlog.

*Reviews and approves special price requests, maintains price bands and price lists for North America, and develops pricing strategies for new and existing products.
*Manages new development activity within North America associated with extending and growing the life of

assigned product line.
*Develops product promotion and commercialization plans including; sales tools, literature,

distribution, stocking, training, and sampling.

*Supports Molex TQM program by following approved policies and procedures.


Additional Skills
Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload. Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and deliver concise and effective presentations to customers and Molex personnel. Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to respond positively to situations. Must be self-motivated and goal oriented. The candidate/incumbent must be proactive rather than reactive and must be able to demonstrate personal initiative. Travel to customers and Molex sites as needed.
The Experience You Will BringRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical area of study
OR
4 + years product marketing or sales experience in related industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Understanding of heavy duty connectors
What Will Put You Ahead
4+ years product marketing experience in connector industry
SAP Experience
Masters Degree
