Job Description

The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the operation and administration of employee Health and Welfare and Retirement programs, including shared responsibility for outsourcing services (Benefits Solutions Group), providing support to the Benefits Director and acting as a subject matter expert for benefits administration.The Senior Benefits Analyst will contribute to the continuous improvement model across all areas of benefit programs and processes, assist and lead major projects that require in-depth knowledge and experience and contribute to a great employee experience through ongoing management of customer service by vendors and liason with the HR Service Center.

Area of Responsibility
Key Elements

Plan Administration
Assist with major annual programs such as Open Enrollment and all ongoing enrollment opportunities

Assists with implementation of benefit programs, vendors and design changes. In some instances will lead implementations on smaller projects

Responsible for administering health and welfare, retirement and stock purchase programs

Conducts benefit orientation meetings with individuals and groups, as needed

Handle complex escalations for claims, eligibility, benefit and program payouts/rewards, premium reconciliation and audits

Responsible for complex processes such as HSA funding or payroll audits and retiree plan correction processes

Contributes to the communication strategy and assist in complex communication deliverables

Provides key support and resource for transition groups

Vendor management and integration
Support in management of all external vendors. In some cases acts as the main liaison

Support and manage internal partners such as HRIS, HRBPs, HR Service Delivery, Finance, IT, communications. In some cases acts as the main liaison

Assist with analyses and benefit comparisons with other businesses for incoming transitions and acquisitions

Compliance
Responsible in the reporting and benefit administration requirements for all Federal, State and Local government agencies

Assure legal and regulatory compliance in the administration of the JLL benefit plans and programs

Continuous Improvement
Modify process/program as appropriate to assure success.

Contribute to a continuous improvement model with clear objectives and metrics

Education and experience
Bachelor degree with 5-7 years of experience in benefits related field

Strong background in benefit compliance and reporting

Strong background administering qualified retirement plans (401(k))

Experience with employee stock purchase programs (ESPP)

Experience with nonqualified retirement plans (deferred compensation) a plus

CEBS or similar certification a plus

Skills and knowledge

Strong communication skills

Other abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

Background in Health and Well-being

Financial background or experience
