Fall Internship – Loan Operations

Rate of Pay: $15 an hour

Position Summary

The Loan Operations Intern will provide assistance to the Loan Operations Department with various recurring tasks as well as special projects.

Primary Accountabilities

• Assist with daily in-office functions with a focus on process improvement.
• Assist the Manager with identifying areas of opportunity in the processes they are assigned and assist with implementation of identified process efficiencies.
• Assist with production of financial reporting.
• Assist with projects within the Loan Operations Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Position Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• The internship will run for Fall of 2024.
• Flexible scheduling
• Must reside local to Effingham, IL and report to the Effingham, IL Corporate office.
• Enrolled in a degree program with courses of study including Finance or Accounting at a college or university with at least 2 years completed.
• Works well in team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in or passion for process improvement.
