Overview
The Program Analyst is an important member in the Ethics and Compliance Office providing support for various functions and units.
Position Summary
The Program Analyst will be responsible for providing support to internal case management, record retention and policy library. Reporting to the Ethics and Compliance Officer, the Program Analyst manages electronic workflow of reports and complaints received by the Ethics and Compliance Office, responsible for the storage and disposition of case files, assists university departments and divisions on record retention, and manages the policy library in coordination with the university's Web Team. The Program Analyst must have strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Internal Case Management - 50%
Manages the internal case management system related to reports and complaints received by the Ethics and Compliance Office, to include sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, unethical conduct, and retaliation.
Gathers documents responsive to internal and external requests and inquiries.
Serves as an initial contact and provides intake to individuals that present concerns to the office.
Provides private consultation to individuals about courses of redress.


Policy Library - 30%
Communicates with policy owners regarding the revision of existing policies.
Provides guidance to policy owners on the distinctions between policies, procedures, and guidance.
Coordinates with the university's web team to post policies and corresponding comments to the Policy Library.
Updates the internal database.

Record Retention - 10%
Provides technical support to employees on policies and procedures related to record management and retention.
Implements a comprehensive communication plan and training program to educate employees regarding records creation, retention, and storage.
Acts as point-of-contact for issues and questions regarding record management and retention.
Updates the university's record retention website and internal database.

Other Related Duties and Projects - 10%
Perform other related work and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications (SPS)
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of two years experience in an office setting working independently.
Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
Experience with advanced Microsoft applications and electronic databases.
Additional Requirements (SPS)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Ability to work independently or in teams to manage projects and meet timelines.
Strong attention to detail.
