Job Description
Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack.
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Must be able to operate a Forklift and/pallet jack in a safe manner.
Maintain receiving/shipping logs and makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition.
Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
Uphold the Hostess Brands food safety, legality, integrity, and quality systems and product standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous Forklift experience is preferred but we will train. Must be able to pass the Forklift written and driver test after training.
Requires high school diploma, or equivalent.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment is preferred.
Additional post-secondary education is preferred (i.e.: Technical or Vocational education) in areas of material handling, warehouse, distribution, packaging, etc.
