US RM is seeking a Vice President to join our team. Structured to support Edelman's many specialty offerings, this role will be responsible for owning RM for two talent pools in the culture, influence and entertainment space. Areas of focus and accountability will include overseeing, managing and maximizing internal talent across a broad portfolio of clients and projects, as well as informing and driving strategic growth and workforce planning. Responsibilities

    • Lead partnership efforts with Specialty Pool leads, Project Management and the broader RM team to field, vet and determine fit-for-purpose casting in an efficient and cost-effective manner
    • Ensure that all projects and teams have the right resources needed to deliver effectively and successfully
    • Set/manage expectations and priorities and communicate proactively on status of fulfillment to internal stakeholders
    • Flag and advise on issues/gaps to RM leadership and necessary stakeholders
    • Manage and traffic requests and casting assignments through resourcing and project management tools such as Resource Management for SmartSheet
    • Report on utilization and other staffing metrics to executive leadership on a regular cadence, highlighting trends, opportunities and concerns
    • Partner closely with counterparts in Infrastructure (HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition) to ensure alignment and awareness around workforce skillsets and needs
    • Develop relationships with talent of all levels to understand skills, passions, background/experience and current workload
    • Manage and maintain data integrity across RM systems, and inform and evolve resourcing processes as needed
    • Field intake needs and fulfill from initial receipt through final booking



Basic Qualifications

    • At least 7 years of previous experience as a resource manager, project manager or integrated account specialist (agency experience preferred)
    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    • Stays calm under pressure, managing tight deadlines and balancing large and small tasks
    • Viewed as a trusted advisor with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving ability
    • Analytical and experienced in evaluating data to identify trends, opportunities and challenges.
