Role Overview: As the Lead Door Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service. You will be the face of our club, committed to overseeing our main entrance and valet while upholding our standards of service.

Reports to: Member Services Manager

Schedule: Full-Time / Monday-Friday from 6:30am-2:30pm

Compensation: $20/hr plus cash tips

Job Responsibilities

Member Services

· Greet members/guests as they arrive, open doors and assist with luggage.

· Assist members, guests, or vendors with packages to and from their vehicle.

· Assist with package deliveries left at the front desk and move to the loading dock if required.

· Develop a report with members by remembering names.

· Securing the front entrance and collaborating with security and front desk agents.

Valet

· Ensure member vehicles are tagged and moved to the designated valet parking spots.

· Ensure all vehicle information is entered into the parking lot system.

· Retrieve vehicles when the members, guests, or vendors are heading out.

· Follow all safety policies and procedures as it pertains to driving vehicles.

· Follow all Valet operations that are specified and escalate concerns to the manager on duty.

· Collaborate and communicate with other departments to coordinate guest parking and maintain smooth operations.

Presentation

· Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

· Maintaining the cleanliness of the front sidewalk, entryway, and lobby areas.

· Wiping and polishing glass on doors and windows in front of the building.

· Sweeping and spraying the sidewalk as needed to ensure a clean entryway.

· Removal of rainwater and/or snow as needed near the curb or sidewalk.

· Ensuring the loading zone is clear for members.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Minimum one year of experience as a door attendant or valet driver; preferably in a hospitality setting.

· Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.

· Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Physical Requirements

· Stand, walk, and run for up to 8 hours per day.

· Be able to use hands, fingers, to grasp, reach, and handle car steering wheel.

· Must use and coordinate feet to drive an automobile and wear non-slip shoes.

· Sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.

· Frequently lift, push, and carry up to 75lb.

· Must be able to listen and speak to communicate with others.

· Must be able to work outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity and wind occasionally.

· Must have great vision and hand coordination to operate vehicles safely.

Preferred Personality

· Dependable, arrive on time, and stay late if necessary.

· Work flexible shifts and schedule if needed, including Saturdays.

· Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills, along with handling conflict well.

· Multi-task and have great time management skills.

· Communicate clearly with members, guests, vendors, the public, teammates, and managers.

· Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
