Job Summary 
 Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates all phases of operating a competitive Intercollegiate Men's Golf Program. Recruits quality student-athletes, who embody the values of Elmhurst University and represent it well in all contexts. Understands the role of NCAA and Division III athletics in the educational process and supports the athletic department in creating a positive environment for student-athletes. Demonstrates the ability to promote the physical, intellectual, and social growth and well-being of student-athletes.
Salary Grade
Essential Functions 
 Supervises and operates all phases of a competitive Division III Men's Golf Program.
Coordinates the recruitment of student-athletes for the Men's Golf Program, contributing to the enrollment effort of both the institution and the athletic department.
Prepares annual budget structure and monitor expenditures.
Maintains and updates a sufficient inventory of equipment, selects and orders equipment and other materials needed to successfully run the program, and oversees the issuing and collecting of all equipment, uniforms, supplies, and materials.
Develops the contest schedule and coordinates all team travel arrangements.
Plans, organizes and administers all in-season practice sessions.
Conducts all coaching of the Men's Golf Program during intercollegiate contests.
Counsels student-athletes in short- and long-range goal-setting. This includes academic monitoring, academic advising, and suggesting on campus resources to support individual student-athletes and the team.
Contributes to the retention efforts of the institution and Athletic Department.
Collaborates with the Director of Athletic Communications pertaining to all media relations and maintains and provides information for the promotional needs of game programs, team media guides, recruiting brochures and other publications.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of Elmhurst University, NCAA, CCIW and rules and regulations. Adhere to NCAA Compliance Regulations.
Endorses and supports other sports within the Athletic Department.

Minimum Qualifications 
 Bachelor's Degree.
Experience as an assistant or head coach in Women's Bowling, preferably in a small private college environment.
Proven track record of successful recruiting.
Well-developed communication skills and ability to discuss college programs and policies with a variety of prospective student audiences.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements 
 Employee is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions (temperatures varying from below 32 degrees to over 90 degrees) for periods of over one hour, subject to hazards such as proximity to moving parts, electrical current, etc., and involves heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly in order to move objects. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift 50 pounds. Must be willing to nights and weekends, as required.
