Responsibilities

 

The General Supply Chain Manager will provide direct leadership and managerial support to a team of nine Peraton employees and four subcontractor partner employees. Additionally, this position will provide subject matter expertise and modeling, simulation and analytical expertise for the Operations Support Division, Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center, United States Transportation Command.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight, management, and communication of Operations Support Division team.
Responsible for the scheduling, task prioritization and quality control within the Operations Support Division team.
Communicate advanced concepts and information in an understandable manner for audiences of varying levels of competency.
Manage multi-functional teams with varying skillsets and requirements.
Interpret large amounts of data with advanced approaches using sophisticated analytical and data visualization software or tools to discover patterns of the data.
Communicate advanced concepts and information in an understandable manner for audiences of varying levels of competency.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance regarding the DoD mobility system and operational plan requirements.
Produce high-quality contract deliverables and internal corporate documents, reports, briefings and other deliverables.
Assist in the program management to include advising on policies, procedures and processes to enable to operate team effectively and efficiently.
Provide support to studies, force flow conferences, exercises, and real-world events.
Assist in identifying, describing and testing ongoing and emerging Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) requirements for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) MS&O applications to meet USTRANSCOM objectives.
Provide tool design, testing, and development expertise for MS&O capability development and implementation.
Develop and implement techniques and processes to efficiently process and analyze AMP output data in support of ongoing analytic efforts.
Write reports documenting data analysis, tool design and development, and test results.
As an ORSA, you will analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques.
You will devise modeling and measuring techniques; utilize mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.
You will provide analytic and model expertise to select data sources and incorporate data with modeling to provide replication of real-world model outputs for operational/programmatic analysis to include such support as analytic support to command and DoD for Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) mobility assessments in preparation of DoD scenarios.

 


Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
BA/BS from accredited college or university in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or similar fields and a minimum of 10 years of experience,
Understanding of logistics and mobility systems.
Knowledge and understanding of modeling and simulation techniques and programs.
Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative reasoning, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leading high-performance teams and managing multiple priorities with scheduled responsibilities
Critical thinking, organization, ability to prioritize work and initiative to solve or mitigate issues.
Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding, experience and abilities to perform analysis with MS Excel.
U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance
May be required to obtain/maintain Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance.
Be willing to work extended hours or possibly weekends to support mission requirements.
