Position Details:
Channel Merchandising Managers are important to Grainger as they help connect customer needs with the right product solutions and category strategy. As a Channel Merchandising Manager you will lead the implementation of the strategy of a product category of up to $600M in annual revenue. You will be the link between supporting teams like Product Information, Publishing, and Software Development and the merchandising organization. You will get prime exposure to the MRO industry. You will report to a Sr. Manager, Merchant in the Merchandising Strategy team.

You Will:

Implement the category strategy and lead the execution of assortment changes, build the customer experience (organization, filter, product tables), and coordinate gathering and creation of content (product information, images, and complementary materials).

Help teams understand the strategy and prioritize work and keep teams accountable to completion of their tasks

Become an expert in Grainger's internal proprietary tools that power Grainger.com.

Challenge the status quo, promote change, navigate uncertainty and identify opportunities to accelerate growth and expand market share.

Use large amounts of data in ways that facilitate decision-making.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree required in engineering, technology, science, marketing, logistics, business or relevant field.

4+ years of professional experience

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and MRO customers
