Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibilities for the direct nursing care of assigned patients in patient care departments. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. As a Rehabilitation Nurse at Carle Health, you’ll play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and confidence. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care that emphasizes physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS College Diploma in Nursing CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Illinois upon hire SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety. Essential Functions:+ Collaborate with providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
+ Administer medications, manage vital signs, and provide hands-on nursing care.
+ Educate patients and families about ongoing care, self-management techniques, and support resources.
+ Act as an advocate for patients, focusing on holistic recovery and personalized care.
+ Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
+ Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
