Job Description
Tailchasers Barrington Pet Resort is looking to hire a reliable, flexible, and experienced full-time Facility Manager with the ability to fill in as a kennel technician or receptionist as needed.
As a Facility Manager within TailchasersInc, you are expected to ensure the day-to-day success of the business by managing the staff, training new hires, providing customer service and resolving customer grievances, dog transport (as needed), covering standard receptionist duties, and pet care for residents within the facility. The ideal candidate must thrive in fast paced environments, be strong in time management, excellent with task prioritization and completion, and have the ability to problem solve and think quickly in ambiguous scenarios. Your training format will be on-the-job learning in addition to written reference material. TailchasersInc is a small, family-owned business that has a variety of Pet Care services that you will be managing:
Barrington Pet Resort (has staff on the property from 6:50 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily): boarding facility, facility tours, grooming salon, dog bussing/transport, receptionists, and technician pet care. As a Facility Manager, it is critical to your success always to maintain professionalism and be teachable.

Responsibilities
+ Answering company phones
+ Office Management
+ Staff Oversight: Interviewing, training, coaching
+ Customer Service
+ Payment Processing
+ Client grievance resolutions
+ Facility supply management
+ Kennel work: lodge cleanliness, feeding, medication, playgroups
Requirements
+ At least 6 months of previous management experience
+ US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
+ Self-starter, self-motivated, successful working independently
+ Physical: standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, sitting, and lifting
+ Strong leader in previous work environments
+ Excellent multi-tasking abilities
+ Strong foundation in computer functions
+ Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods
+ Must pass a background check
+ Comfortable with all types of cats, dogs, & some birds
+ Able to commit to this position for 12 months from the date of hire
+ Ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner
+ Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
+ Weekend availability
Compensation
+ Negotiable based on experience.
