We are on the lookout for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with providing technical support to users and ensuring the smooth functioning of their systems. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the efficient resolution of technical issues. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver real-time support to users, addressing software and hardware related issues.

- Handle support tickets from various sources such as text messages, web submissions, voice messages, etc.

- Accurately document details of reported support issues, including root cause and resolution, within the ticket management system.

- Assist users in navigating through information they are looking for and answering any technical questions they may have.

- Take support phone calls from customers, providing timely and effective solutions.

- Escalate any higher-level issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.

- Implement customer feedback measures and improve customer satisfaction levels.

- Use basic computer skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

- Ensure the proper functioning of customer devices and connections, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

- Maintain a client-centric mindset and demonstrate good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Requirements

- Must possess strong customer service skills.

- Basic knowledge of computer usage is required.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.

- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

- Must have a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must be willing to learn new technologies and keep knowledge up to date.
