Job Description

Description Our company is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced senior accountant to join our team. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing the general accounting functions, performing complex accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements, and producing detailed financial reports. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Help with quarterly and annual audits. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions. Support month end and year end close process. Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships. Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end. Assist with forecast and budget development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, or other related certification, is strongly preferred. Proven experience as a senior accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP). Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude for numbers and ability to analyze complex data. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
