Our organization is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports, maintaining a comprehensive set of records, processing payments, tracking income and expenses, and carrying out other duties as required.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare accounting-related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs.

+ Follow our company’s established accounting processes.

+ Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.

+ Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.

+ Prepare documentation for external auditors.

+ Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.

+ Collaborate with financial team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

+ Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

+ Proven experience as a staff accountant or similar role.

+ Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.

+ Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes.

+ Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.

+ Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software.

+ Well-organized with ability to prioritize.

+ Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

+ Excellent communication skills.
