This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a IT Service Designer/Developer Intern, you will be responsible for:

+ Designing and implementing state-of-the-art generative models, as well as working collaboratively with our team to drive innovation and develop new solutions.

+ In your activities you will analyze demands and architecting and designing solutions that meet business

+ requirements and defining solution architecture in line with architecture principles.

+ Designs architecture components, including design and documentation of architecture relevant system or software changes or enhancements to all assigned systems.

+ Develop, build, configure, customize, integrate and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements.

+ LLM Developer/Engineer, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and optimize large language models, LLM-based applications, NLP systems, frameworks, and tools for both front-end and back-end development.

+ Prototypes and do proof of concepts (PoC) in one or all the following areas: LLM, NLP, DL (Deep Learning), ML (Machine Learning), object detection / classification, tracking, etc.

+ Language Model Development: Utilize off-the-shelf LLM services, such as Azure OpenAI, to integrate LLM capabilities into applications, and collaborate with the research team to design and develop state-of-the-art language models.

This position may suit you best if you’re familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills with Siemens Healthineers:

+ Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

+ Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, majoring in: Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or a related field.

+ Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

Start date: August/September 2024
